27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.



Ver. 27. The things concerning himself] Christ is author, object, matter, and mark of Old and New Testament: the babe of Bethlehem is bound up (as I may so say) in these swathing bands.
