Num_23:11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed [them] altogether.
Ver. 11. What hast thou done unto me.] Hereby it appears that Balak, in serving of God by building altars and offering sacrifices, did but serve himself upon God; as Ephraim bore "fruit to himself"; {Hos_10:1} and "Did ye fast to me, even to me?" {Zec_7:5}
