26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.



Ver. 26. For he longed after you] åðéðïèùí . The word signifieth such a vehement desire as is impatient of delays. His heart was in the same place his calling was.



And was full of heaviness] Gr. áäçìïíùí , he was out of the world, as it were, and could not take comfort in any company.
