15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.



Ver. 15. But ye only] One poor Philippian shamed a hundred close fisted Corinthians. Araunah gave like a king, 2Sa_24:23, and is therefore crowned and chronicled: Zec_9:7; "Ekron shall be as the Jebusite," that is, as this famous Jebusite Araunah, that parted with his freehold for pious uses.
