9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Ver. 9. Abhor that which is evil] Hate it as hell itself, áðïóôõãïõíôåò , so the word signifies; Mihi certe Auxentius nunquam aliud quam diabolus erit, quia Arianus, saith Hilary, I shall look upon Auxentius no otherwise than as upon a devil, so long as he is an Arian.
