17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,



Ver. 17. Restest in the law] So spending thy time in a still dream, but thou shalt have sick waking, then when God shall send out summons for such sleepers. Men dream their Midianitish dreams, and tell them for law or gospel to their neighbours, Jdg_7:13.
