Son_6:3 I [am] my beloved’s, and my beloved [is] mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
Ver. 3. I am my beloved’s, &c.] Or, I am for my beloved, and he is for me; i.e., for me only. He resteth in his love, and I in mine. We will seek no further. And here her faith reviveth who in her late temptation and desertion was in a mist, and could not read her own graces, {a} {See Trapp on "Son_2:16"} It reviveth, I say, and fetcheth out Christ, that had hid himself, as that brave woman did. {Mar_7:24-25}
