1Pe_4:19. The exhortation contained in this verse is closely connected with 1Pe_4:17-18, in such a way, however, “that it brings to a close the whole section which treats of suffering for the sake of Christ” (Hofmann); Hornejus: clausula est qua totam exhortationem obsignat.
