Heb_10:1-4. Presentation in a clearer light of the necessity for Christ’s offering Himself only once for the expiation of sins (Heb_9:25-28), by pointing to the ineffectiveness of the expiatory sacrifices continually repeated within the domain of Judaism. This constant repetition attests that sins are still ever present, as indeed a cancelling of sin by the blood of bullocks and of goats is impossible.
