Joh_14:14. Τὸ αὐτὸ λέγει βεβαιῶν μάλιστα τὸν λόγον , Euth. Zigabenus. But this is done to make it specially prominent that He is the active subject. Bengel well remarks: “ ἐγώ hoc jam indicat gloriam.”
