Καὶ μεταβὰς ἐκεῖθεν , κ . τ . λ .] therefore on the same Sabbath day. Different from Luke, who has ἐν ἑτέρῳ σαββάτῳ , to which further division of time Mark likewise fails to make any reference whatever.
αὐτῶν ] the Pharisees, whom He had just sent away. It is impossible to say where the synagogue was to which those Pharisees belonged. But to take αὐτῶν without any definite reference, as in Mat_11:1 (“of the people of the place,” de Wette, Bleek), is precluded by ἐπηρώτησαν , etc., of which the Pharisees mentioned in Mat_12:14 are to be regarded as the subject.
