Mat_15:1. The three sections of ch. 15, having as their respective subjects the washing of hands (Mat_15:1-20), the woman of Canaan (Mat_15:21-31), and the feeding of the four thousand (Mat_15:32-39), occur elsewhere only in Mark (Mat_7:8), whom Matthew partly abridges and partly supplements.
