Mat_15:32. In this second instance of feeding the multitude, and which is likewise recorded in Mar_8:1 ff. (and that in a more authentic form), Jesus takes the initiative, as in Joh_6:5; not so in Mat_14:15.

καὶ οὐκ ἔχουσι . κ . τ . λ .] for in the course of the three days they had consumed the provisions they had brought along with them.
