Mat_18:29. Πεσών ] after that he had fallen dawn,—that is, as one who προσεκύνει , which follows, as a matter of course, from Mat_18:26, without our requiring to insert such words as εἰς τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ (see critical notes). Chrysostom appropriately observes: οὐ τὸ σχῆμα τῆς ἱκετηρίας ἀνέμνησεν αὐτὸν τῆς τοῦ δεσπότου φιλανθρωπίας .
