Mat_20:20. Τότε ] after the announcement in Mat_20:17-19. Salome, His mother’s sister (see note on Joh_19:25), was one of those women who were in the habit of accompanying Jesus, Mat_27:56; Mar_15:40; Mar_16:1. She may have heard from her sons what He, Mat_19:28, had promised the apostles.
