They of the circumcision; such as were not only themselves circumcised, but born of circumcised parents, who are thus called, Gal_2:12. These, not minding, or understanding, the many predictions of the calling of the Gentiles, thought that Christ was only promised unto the Jews; and were amazed to see now such an argument as might convince them to the contrary.
