This Chapter Verse Commentaries:

All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you: the apostle drawing to a conclusion, that he at so great distance might certify them of his love to them, and care for them, doth here acquaint them that with this Epistle he was sending two persons of integrity, for their satisfaction and his, viz. Tychicus, an Asiatic, their countryman and his fellow traveller, Act_20:4, whom he sometimes sent to others, 2Ti_4:12 Tit_3:12, who would give them to understand what circumstances he was in, and all his affairs: see Eph_6:21,22.

Who is a beloved brother; whom he recommends to them as being a good man, a brother, as Timothy, Col_1:1, and Epaphroditus, Phi_2:25, beloved of the people.

And a faithful minister; and whom he had experimentally found to be a faithful deacon, in the larger acceptation, or minister, i.e. of Jesus Christ, and his messenger.

And fellow servant in the Lord; and owned as his colleague, or

fellow servant in the Lord, that they might more kindly receive him.
