GERUTH-CHIMHAM (Jer_41:17).—A khan (?) which possibly derived its name from Chimham, the son of Barzillal the Gileadite (2Sa_19:37 f.). Instead of gçrûth we should perhaps read gidrôth ‘hurdles.’
