GIZONITE.—A gentilic name which occurs in 1Ch_11:34 in the colloc. ‘Hashem the Gizonite.’ In all probability this should be corrected to ‘Jashen (cf. the parallel passage 2Sa_23:32) the Gunite.’ See Jashen.
