HUSHIM.—1. The eponym of a Danite family (Gen_46:23); called in Num_26:42 Samhuham. In 1Ch_7:12 Hushim seems to be a Benjamite, but it is possible that for ‘sons of Aher’ we should read ‘sons of another,’ i.e. Dan_2:1-49. The wife of Shaharaim the Benjamite (1Ch_8:8; 1Ch_8:11).
