KIBROTH-HATTAAVAH (‘graves of lust,’ Num_11:34; Num_33:16, Deu_9:22).—The march from Taberah (Num_11:3) is not mentioned in Num_23:1-30, but Kibroth-hattaavah was one day’s journey from the wilderness of Sinai. It is placed by tradition to the N. of Naqb el-Hawa (‘mountain path of the wind’), which leads to the plain below the traditional Sinai.
