MEBUNNAI.—The name in 2Sa_23:27 of one of David’s thirty heroes. It is a scribal error for Sibbecai, the form which has been preserved in the parallel lists, 1Ch_11:29; 1Ch_27:11, and also 2Sa_21:18 = 1Ch_20:4.
