MERONOTHITE.—A designation applied in the OT to two men. 1. Jehdeiah (1Ch_27:30). 2. Jadon (Neh_3:7). From the context of Neh_3:7 Meronoth would appear to have been in the neighbourhood of Gibeon and Mizpah.
