SHOA.—A race named in Eze_23:23 along with Babylonians, Chaldæans, Pekod, Koa, and Assyrians. The Sutû were nomads, frequently named in the same company by Assyrian and Babylonian writers, and among other seats inhabited the E. of the Tigris.
