SILLA.—The servants of king Joash smote him ‘at the house of Millo [read rather ‘at Beth-Millo’] on the way that goeth down to Silla’ (2Ki_12:20). Where or what Silla may have been there is nothing to show. The LXX [Note: Septuagint.] reads Gaalla or Gaallad.
