VEDAN.—In RV [Note: Revised Version.] the name of a country or city that traded with Tyre (Eze_27:19). AV [Note: Authorized Version.] has ‘Dan also.’ The passage is so corrupt that no certainly correct reading is at present attainable. Cf. Uzal.
