ATTENDANCE.—In 1Ma_15:32 ‘attendance’ is used for a king’s retinue; while in 1Ti_4:13 it is used in the obsolete sense of attention: ‘Till I come give attendance (RV [Note: Revised Version.] ‘heed’) to reading.’
