( öְøֹø , tseror'; äÝóìç ), signifies any thing bound together and tied up for future disposal (Son_1:13; Mat_13:30; Job_14:17). It is also used of a sum of money in a purse (Gen_42:35; Pro_7:20). SEE BAG. The speech of Abigail to David (1Sa_25:29) may be thus rendered: “The life of my master is bound up in the bundle of the living by Jehovah,” or written in the book of the living. In Act_28:3, the original word is ðëῆèïò , an armful, literally a
“multitude,” as elsewhere rendered.
