was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South. After several years' service in the Kentucky Conference, he removed to Texas, where, in 1855, he was ordained elder in the Texas Conference. Four years later he became superannuated, which relation he sustained to the time of his decease, Aug. 4, 1861.
