(Hebrews Kabbon', ëִּáּåֹï , in Syriac, a cake; Sept. ×áââώí v. r. ×áâñÜ and ×áââÜ ), a place in the “plain” of Judah, mentioned between Eglon and Lahmam (Jos_15:40); possibly the same with MACHBENAH (1Ch_2:49). It is perhaps the modern ruined site el-Kufeir, marked byVan de Velde (Map) at 10 miles south-east of Ashkelon.
