1. A son of Ammishaddai, and phylarch or chief of the tribe of Dan at the time of the exode (Num_1:12; Num_2:25; Num_10:25). He made an offering for the service of the tabernacle, like his compeers (Num_7:66; Num_7:71), B.C. 1657.
2. The chief of the Benjamite warriors and slingers that repaired to David at Ziklag (1Ch_12:3), B.C. 1054.
