a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born April 9, 1715, at Witzendorf. He studied at Helmstadt, was in 1746 pastor at Hanover, in 1754 pastor primarius at Hitzacker, and in 1759 superintendent at Burgdorf, where he died, April 30,1763.
