a Congregational minister, was born .at Georgia, Vt., May 23, 1835. He fitted for college at Georgia and Bakersfield academies, and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1856, and from the Andover Theological Seminary in 1861. He was ordained at St. Johnsbury Centre in 1862; preached there a year, and then. ill-health compelled him to return to his father's house, where he died, April 25, 1865. See Cong.
