Grimm (Handb. zu d. Maccabees in loc.) thinks it is probably the BEER-ELIM SEE BEER-ELIM (q.v.) of Isa_15:8 (SEE BEER simply in Num_21:16), an identification favored by the associated names (Bozrah and Carnaim).
