a Scotch clergyman, took his degree at King's College, Aberdeen, in 1644; was licensed to preach in 1646; went to England as preacher to a regiment, for which he was debarred the privileges of a minister; but on his repentance the assembly readmitted him in 1650, and he was called to the living at Fearn in 1653.
