a Reformed (Dutch) minister, was born in Holland in 1698, and came to America in 1730. He was pastor at Hackensack until 1737; at Hackensack and Schraalenburgh until 1755; Brooklyn, Flatlands, Bushwick, Flatbush, New Utrecht, and Gravesend in 1756, when he died.
