a Welsh Congregational minister, was born in the parish of Trelech, Carmarthenshire, in 1820. He joined the Church at the age of sixteen; in his twenty-first year began to preach; entered Brecon College in 1843, and in 1847 was ordained at Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, where he labored until his sudden death, October 28, 1873.
