a Presbyterian minister, was born at Newburyport, Massachusetts, June 4, 1800. He was licensed by the Philadelphia Presbytery in 1834; labored as a home missionary in various parts of the state of New York; subsequently became an agent for the American Tract Society in Philadelphia, and died there, August 5, 1867.
