(Hebrews Eladah', àֶìַòָãָä , whom God has put on, i.e., fills with himself; Sept. Å᾿ëáäÜ v.r. Å᾿ëåáäÜ , Vulg. Elada), one of the sons (rather than grandson or later descendant, as the text seems to state) of Ephraim (1Ch_7:20), perhaps the same as ELEAD SEE ELEAD (q.v.) of 1Ch_7:21, since several of the names [SEE TAHATH] in the list appear to be repeated (compare Num_26:36, where the only corresponding name is ERAN).
