Heran), son of Shuthelah (eldest son of Ephraim), and progenitor of the family of the Eranites (Num_26:36). B.C. post 1856. The name does not occur in the genealogies of Ephraim in 1Ch_7:20-29, though a name, ELADAH (1Ch_7:20) or ELEAD (1Ch_7:21), is found which may be a corruption of it.
