(Heb. Charbona', çִøְáåֹðָà , prob. Pers. for ass-driver; Sept. Ï᾿áñåâùÜ v.r. ÈáññÜ ), one of the seven eunuchs of king Ahasuerus or Xerxes, commanded by him to exhibit the beauty of Vashti (Est_1:10). He was probably the same with the one called HARBONAH (Heb. Charbonah, çִøְáåֹðָä , id.; Sept. changes to ÂïõãáèÜí ), who suggested to the king the idea of hanging Haman on his own gallows (chap. 7:9). B.C. 483473.
