1. Son of Azariah and father of Eleasah, of the tribe of Judah (1Ch_2:39). B.C. apparently ante 1017.
2. An Ephraimite of Pelon, and one of David's warriors, and afterwards captain of his seventh regiment (2Sa_23:26; 1Ch_11:27; 1Ch_28:10). B.C. 1014 et ante.
