He edited the work of his father Joseph, rabbi at Cassel, entitled áï ôåøú éåñ , a commentary on the Haphtaroth, homiletically arranged (Furth, 1796), and wrote Ueber den Eid der Juden, etc. (Eisenach, 1824).
