He studied at Leipsic, was in 1695 deacon at Dresden (Neustadt), in 1704 pastor there, and died August 3, 1730, leaving a number of ascetical works, for which see Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v.; Furst, Bibl.
