Theodotion (perhaps also the Sept.) and the Vulg. understand a tiara; compare Greek ðÝôáóïò , Venet. Gr. vers. ἀíáîõñßò ; but the Heb. interpreters more correctly render a tunic or undergarment ( ëֻּúֹּðֶú = ÷éôώí ), a signification that better agrees with an ample garment (from ( ôָּèִùׁ , to expand).
