1. (Sept. É᾿åæñéÜ ; Vulg. Israhia.) The “son” of Uzzi, and grandson of Tola, the son of Issachar (1Ch_7:3). B.C. cir. 1014. SEE OBADIAH.

2. (Sept. omits, but some copies have É᾿åæñßáò , others É᾿åóñßáò ; Vulg. Jezraja; A.V. “Jezrahiah.”) The superintendent of the singers (doubtless a Levite) who celebrated the completion of the walls of Jerusalem after the Exile (Neh_12:42). B.C. 446.
