(Heb. Yerachmeël', éְøִçְîְàֵì , loving God or beloved by God), the name of three men.

1. (Sept. É᾿ñáìåήë and É᾿åñåìåήë v.r. É᾿åñáìåήë .) First born of Hezron, brother of Caleb, and father of Ram (not Aram), of the tribe of Judah (1Ch_2:9; 1Ch_25:26). B.C. ante 1658. His descendants were called JERAHMLEELITES (Hebrew Yeracnheëli', éְøִçְîְàֵìַé , Sept. É᾿åñéìéήë and ῾Éåñéìéήë v.r. ῾Éåñåìåήë , 1Sa_27:10; 1Sa_30:29).

2. (Sept. É᾿ñáìáήë v.r. ῾Éåñáìåήë .) Son of Kish, a Levite whose relationship is undefined otherwise (2 Chronicles 24:29). B.C. apparently 1014.

3. (Sept. ῾Éåñåìéήë v.r. É᾿åñåìåήë a.) Son of Hammelech (q.v.), one of the two persons commanded by Jehoiakim to apprehend Jeremiah and Baruch, who providentially escaped (Jer_36:26). B.C. 605.
