As to identification, El-Wetideh is a place in Nejd, said to be in the Dahna, SEE ISHBAK; there is also a place called El- Wetid, and El- Wetidat, which is the name of mountains belonging to Bene Abd-Allah Ibn-Ghatfin (Marasid. s.v.)
