besides its usual meaning ( ãֶּáֶ÷ de'bek, ἁöή , etc.), is, in one passage (Son_7:1), very erroneously employed in the A.V. as a rendering of çִîּåּ÷éí , chammukim' (Sept. vaguely ῥíèìïß , Vulg. juncturoe, occurs nowhere else), the wrappers (of the thighs), i.e. drawers, a part of the female dress; which, in the case of bridal toilette, are represented as being fringed with a worked edging like lace or a skillfully chased jewel.
