( Ìáêåäώí ) occurs in the A.V. of the N.T. only in Act_27:2. In the other cases (Act_16:9; Act_19:29; 2Co_9:2; 2Co_9:4) our translators render it “of Macedonia.” The “Macedonians” are also mentioned in the Apocrypha (Esther 16:10, 14; 1Ma_1:1; 2Ma_8:20). SEE MACEDONIA.
